Description

Characteristics of Acarin insecticide

The insecticide Acarin acts by contact or ingestion . It has a great dispersion and a prolonged action whose effects are also visible on eggs and larvae of mites. It is composed of 10% Hexithiazox and comes in 10 gram sachets with a powder formulation to dilute.

Hexithiazox acts as a chitin inhibitor in all stages of the plague. It is ideal for fruit crops, trees, red fruits, citrus, vines and plants. Its residual effect is capable of lasting up to several days after application. It is not a systemic insecticide and its safety period is 14 days .

How to use Acarin insecticide

The best way to use Acarin insecticide is by spraying. It is most advisable to use it at the first symptoms of the pest's appearance. The dose recommended by the manufacturer for indoor cultivation is 0.2 grams of Acarin for every liter of water you put in the sprayer.

Bring the sprayer close to your plants and apply the product on them. You should not mix this product with mineral oil or synthetic pyrethroids. The degradation of this insecticide with light is very slow, since it is capable of lasting at least 100 days on the plant .

What pests can you fight with Acarin?

Acarin insecticide is designed to act against red spider, mite, leafminer and beetle pests . The red spider is one of the most common pests. A type of insect that significantly reduces the final production of the crop, since it is a pest that grows and multiplies quickly.

The leafminer, for its part, is a small fly that, little by little, eats the lower layers of the plants.
