This Bluelab PH meter works digitally. It can be immersed in water , providing reliable and fast results. The temperature and pH level can be seen on its LCD digital screen. Through its three buttons you can turn on the equipment, configure the calibration and change from °C to °F for temperature measurement.
It works exclusively with one AAA battery , which is included.

How is the Bluelab pH meter prepared for use?

After the first use you must follow certain care before each use. For example, you need to keep the probe clean and leave it submerged in the maintenance liquid, otherwise it will be damaged. When it is necessary to calibrate it , you immerse the probe in an envelope of PH7.01 and when the value appears on the screen, press the CAL button until the same word appears on the screen. Then the process is repeated with envelope 4.01.

How to use the Bluelab pH meter to control nutrients?

After turning on the Bluelab pH meter, place it in the water, making sure that the probe is well submerged . Just a few seconds later you will get the pH and temperature value on the screen. By obtaining the value, you can make the necessary changes to have a nutrient solution with a pH between 5.8-6.5 in soil crops and 5.5-6.3 in hydro and coconut. After use, you must clean it well with a meter cleaning solution and store it properly.
If you do not clean it after each measurement, salts and minerals from the water will accumulate in the device, preventing its correct functioning.
