This device features a two-line LCD display that simultaneously displays pH and temperature values, facilitating accurate and fast measurements in a variety of environmental conditions.
Features of the PH55 Meter
-
Extended Measurement Range : pH from -2.0 to 16.0 and temperature from -5.0°C to 60.0°C (23.0°F to 140.0°F).
-
Automatic Temperature Compensation : Ensures accurate pH measurements under various thermal conditions.
-
Automatic Two-Point Calibration : Uses pH 7.01 and pH 4.01/10.01 standard solutions for easy and accurate calibration.
-
Replaceable pH Probe : The double junction electrode can be replaced simply and quickly, with a modular design that also makes changing batteries easy.
Ideal for Use in Various Sectors
Perfect for field applications such as agriculture, hydroponics, aquariums, fish farming, swimming pools, water treatment, laboratories and education, the PH55 provides essential tools for professionals and hobbyists who need reliability and precision in their measurements.
PH55 Meter Operation
-
Start : Remove the electrode protection and turn on the meter by pressing the ON/OFF button.
-
Measurement : Immerse the electrode in the liquid to be measured and wait for the device to compensate the temperature automatically.
-
Power Off : To turn off the meter, press the ON/OFF/CAL button.
PH55 Meter Calibration
-
Automatic Calibration : Press the ON/OFF/CAL button until the “OFF” message is replaced by “CAL”. Immerse the meter in the pH 7.01 calibration solution. Once stabilized, the meter will ask for immersion in pH 4.01. After adjusting at both points, the device will confirm with "OK2".
-
One Point Calibration : For easier calibration, immerse the meter in a pH 4, pH 7 or pH 10 solution and follow the procedure to automatically adjust the meter at that point.
Electrode Change
To replace the electrode:
- Unscrew the white ring.
- Remove the old electrode and insert a new one, making sure not to damage the connections.
Precautions
It is important not to use distilled or deionized water for electrode storage, as this could damage the meter.
The PH55 meter is an indispensable tool for those requiring accurate pH and temperature measurements in the field or laboratory, offering ease of use, accuracy and durability in a compact, waterproof design.
