It has an LCD screen illuminated with a light shade of blue, ideal for seeing the values ​​returned after measuring. The EC reading is done immediately , meaning that all you have to do is immerse the meter in the tank to obtain the results.

How to calibrate and use the Bluelab Pen digital and submersible EC Meter?

Using it is very easy, you just need to turn it on and when you introduce it into the irrigation water it will capture the EC, which will be displayed on its screen. After taking measurements, it is important to clean the probe by washing it with tap water and drying only the tip of the meter. Unlike pH meters, this one does not need to be immersed in liquid for storage.

To calibrate it you will need a 2.77EC calibration envelope. You immerse the EC Bluelab Pen in the liquid and press the CAL button for a few seconds. Then the word CAL will appear on the screen, indicating that it is ready to be used.
