PH600: Your Affordable pH Meter for Versatile Use
The PH600 is an economical pH meter that provides fast and accurate measurements, with a range spanning 0.0 to 14.0 pH. This device stands out for its resolution and precision of 0.1pH, and is suitable for operating in temperatures from 0 to 50ºC. Its versatility makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, including agriculture, hydroponics, home culture, fish farming, aquariums, swimming pools, laboratories, educational environments and the food industry.
PH600 Operation
To use the PH600 meter follow these steps:
- Remove the black protective cap and activate the meter.
- Submerge it to the indicated limit and wait for the reading to stabilize.
- Clean the electrode with water after each use and apply a few drops of MA9015 liquid or pH 7.0 calibration liquid to the cap containing a sponge to preserve it properly.
- Do not use distilled or deionized water to store the meter.
- Significant variations in readings may indicate the need for recalibration, a dry electrode, or discharged batteries.
Calibration and Maintenance
To calibrate the PH600:
- Immerse the electrode in the pH 7.01 calibration fluid (M10007), wait for the reading to stabilize, and adjust to pH 7.0 with the screwdriver on the back of the meter.
- Always use fresh calibration fluids.
To keep the electrode in good condition:
- Rinse it under running water after each use.
- To clean built-up dirt, use a soft toothbrush with liquid soap to gently scrub the glass bulb and clear tape.
- Every three months, bathe the electrode in a cleaning solution (reference: M10016B) for two hours.
Battery Change
If the meter does not activate or shows low intensity, open the battery compartment and replace the three 1.5V batteries, making sure to respect the correct polarity.
The PH600 is a reliable and accurate pH meter, essential to effectively manage any system that requires pH control. Get accurate measurements with ease!
