An analog timer is a timing box with an automatic security system to automate lighting, extraction and irrigation systems, among others. By connecting the timer to the devices you have in the crop, you can program it so that they turn off or on from time to time. This way, not only do you remotely control all the devices in your crop, but you also don't have to always be aware and you save on energy . Typically, analog timers operate on 24-hour cycles. This way, you can schedule on and off for every day equally . They also come with a power and programmed button. When it is not on, the settings and current go through, while if it is in programming mode it turns on and off when you have indicated.
You can connect the analog timer with the ventilation and lighting system, the extractors, the anti-odor filters and even with the automatic irrigation.
A plant requires what is known as a photoperiod , the hours in which it receives light or darkness. It is advisable to automate the timer so that the crop receives 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, while in the flowering stage it should be 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. The timer helps keep the plants' photoperiod regular. You can program it so that electronic devices are turned on and off every 15-20 minutes.
