Liquid Oxygen: Cleaning and Oxygenation for Hydroponic Systems

Liquid Oxygen is a powerful cleansing and oxygenating agent designed specifically for hydroponic systems. It contains 17.5% hydrogen peroxide (H202), an essential molecule involved in all plant metabolic processes. When added to nutrient reservoirs, it releases additional oxygen that is easily assimilated by the roots, improving the overall health of the plants.

Liquid Oxygen Applications:

1. Regular Oxygenation: Liquid Oxygen can be added regularly to the reservoir to provide additional oxygen to the roots and keep the nutrient solution free of pathogens. A ratio of 5 ml per 10 litres of water is recommended, added daily or 1 ml per litre, two or three times per week.

2. Treatment of Root Diseases: In cases of root diseases, such as Pythium, Liquid Oxygen helps to eliminate the conditions that cause these problems. When treating affected roots, the product should be circulated in the system for three days at a concentration of 2 ml per litre. If the problem persists, the treatment should be repeated.

3. Cleaning and Sterilization: Liquid Oxygen is ideal for cleaning and sterilizing hydroponic systems and growing media such as perlite or expanded clay. Its aggressive formula eliminates harmful bacteria and pathogens, allowing a clean and safe environment for plants. For cleaning, use a solution of 100 ml of Liquid Oxygen per 10 liters of water.

4. System Maintenance: Using Liquid Oxygen regularly ensures that the hydroponic system remains healthy and that the plants receive the oxygen necessary for optimal development.
